Went for a slow and easy run at Bethpage this morning. I wanted to do just 10 miles. My calf was feeling fine. I was running at an easy 10:20- 10:30 pace. After the first half of a mile I had to turn around and walk back. It felt like I was hit in the calf by a rock. Not good. I'm back to where I started.

ReplyDeleteJust such a DRAG.
Only good thing is you had a short walk back.
Guess it's going to be cross training time for a while...8/
I'm going to someone on Monday who I hope can do some ART on it. Yes.. I guess I'll clean off the road bike.. :(
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that is so frustrating. Hope you can find someone who can help.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks! So sorry to hear this. Good luck tomorrow at the dr.'s
ReplyDeleteIs it any better today? I had a similar experience a month ago. 1/3 of a mile and I had to stop. I was fortunate to recover after laying off for a few days. I hope your recovery is as fast as that.
ReplyDeleteHow did your doctor's appointment go? Hope you're on the road to recovery!
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing?
